Are you new to Rancho Murieta or the Sacramento area. Locals may use some terms your are not familiar with. - Arco – Arco Area is our local area where the Kings play. It is located in Natomas.
- The “bay” – San Francisco is commonly referred to as the bay
- The “bridge” – Generally refers to the yellow country club bridge located parallel to Jackson highway
- The “city” – San Francisco is commonly referred to as the city
- The “dot com” – Common name used to describe ranchomurieta.com
- Downtown – Downtown Sacramento
- Fish Park – Also referred to as the Gazebo Park. It is the first park after entering the North gates
- Gator Lake – The small lake located off of holes 10 and 11 on the south course
- Murieta – Short for Rancho Murieta
- Old Sac – Old Sacramento
- Swim lake – Lake Clementia on the north – the only lake where swimming is allowed
- “Up the Hill” – Generally refers to the Sierra Nevada Mountains, usually specifically Lake Tahoe
