It’s playoff time for the Pleasant Grove Jr. Eagles Football and Cheer. Three of the four age groups have made it to playoffs. They will all be playing next Saturday at Sheldon High School. Below are a few photos from the season.
The Pee Wees coached by Matt Kaiser will be taking on the Colfax Falcons at Sheldon Stadium. The winner will move to the second round and play the winner of the Rio Linda and Davis match up. The last time the Pee Wees played Colfax the Pleasant Grove Eagles were victorious with a score of 19 to 13.
The Jr. Midgets are up against the Davis Blue Devils in the first round. The Jr Midgets are coached by Chip Pollock. The Jr. Midgets delivered a decisive win over Davis just two weeks ago with a score of 36 to 0. This winner will move on to round two against either the Colfax Falcons or the Rio Linda Knights.
Steve Durant will be leading The Midgets against the Rio Linda Knights. The Midgets lost to the Knights in their last matchup 12 to 6 and the Midgets are promising to revenge their loss.
Come out and support these boys and girls this Saturday. The kids have worked hard all season and all of the games should be exciting. All of the games are at Sheldon High School with the following games times:
PeeWee – 1 PM
Jr Midgets – 3 PM
Midgets – 5PM

Just thought of this...
If I go to the Midget game, I'm gonna hafta leave early so I can get ready for the Little Monsters in the 'hood that will come to scare me. On the one hand, not very good planning at the League level. On the other hand, I'm no longer in charge of game-day operations, so I can leave the stadium whenever I jolly-well please! Woot!
