Michelle Hubbell of Plaza Foods and Kiwanian member, Joe Mazzoni, helped wrap-up the 2009 Toys for Tots campaign on Saturday, December 19th. The Toys for Tots campaign began on November 19th and toys were collected at many merchants and sites in the Rancho Murieta area.

The community of Rancho Murieta contributed 448 toys that included two bicycles, which is 81% of what was collected last year. Well done to the community, Kiwanians and the Marines!

The Marines at the USMC Reserve Center in Sacramento were very appreciative of toys donated by Rancho Murieta since in 2009 the need is even greater than previous years. The toys are being distributed to charitable organizations and churches throughout the Sacramento area.
