We went to see America last weekend and they were great! The band has been touring at least 100 days a year since they started (over 30 years ago) Especially cool for guitar heads - one of the guitar players had a '59 Strat that sounded excellent. Fine, professional, hardworking musicians.. good times baby!

Who do you recommend? Robert Cray is at Jackson Rancheria next week. I'd love to see him if we were in town. That's a good place to see acts because it's a small venue.

Did you see America when they came out to RM? They were one of the ETC events in (I think) 2005. They were great! Robert Cray would be great to see too.

Really? America or an America tribute band? How cool. We saw Chaka Kahn at Jackson Rancheria and that was very cool too.

Artist David Garabaldi is doing a show next week at Sac State and THAT is a great show to see. He's a local (young) guy who does incredible paintings to music. He did a Ray Charles painting once that we still regret we didn't buy (sob!)

America. The real thing. ETC has some great events every year. You may be new to RM but they have had Pablo Cruise, Three Dog Night, America, Elvin Bishop.... I'm forgetting some. Can't beat the view and the vibe at those summer concerts out at the back lake.

California Guitar Trio at Sutter Creek Theater April 19. TINY intimate venue with good acoustics. GREAT guitar players.
