I think I need to give up on wanting to relive the music of my youth. Four of us gals went to see Eddie Money at Konocti last night. OMG he was terrible, although I can't really say that as the band was playing so loud that you could barely hear his voice! But then maybe that was on purpose

You should check out his daughter though, she had a great voice, Jesse Money:

I saw Eddie Money YEARS ago at the Memorial Auditorium. He sang good but I was so distracted by his dancing it was hard to pay attention to anything else. He's right up there with Mick Jagger and Joe ****er .

OK-this is way too funny! I just checked my reply and see that Joe ****er was automatically censored. So-how come I can't write Joe ****er, but I can write, say, Dick Cheney without being censored?

And speaking of his dancing, if you can call it that, it was basically trying to spin around and almost falling down. There was a mention of getting his driver's license back and the Betty Ford Clinic/rehab

Hey Beth,

Don't give up! Eddie Money is notoriously bad. Some just don't stand the test of time. I heard the same about Rick Springfield (?). I'd love to see Chicago.

C'mon, he was bad even when he was in his heyday.

My wife and I saw Billy Joel at Arco in Feb. He was fantastic.

I really liked Eddie Money & Jackson Brown, etc. back in the 70's. I guess I'd better stick to those recordings

Yes Michael Buble's got a great voice if you're into that kind of music.

If you like the old style music, howw about this guy - James Hunter, I just got this album:

I saw James Hunter last year up at Strawberry Music Fest. The dude rocks. James Brown meets Mitch Ryder. In a Brit!
