Default San Ysidro Ranch, Montecito

My wife and I just got back from spending time down at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito for our anniversary.

It's not cheap, but I have to say that it is absolutely the best place I've been to to transport you away from the everyday. It was elegant without being pretentious, and pampering without being obnoxious.

All and all, just a wonderful experience.

And happy 20th anniversary, again, to Mrs. Luke.

20 years! Wow. Thats a HUGE milestone. Congratulations on keeping the fires burning in a world that doesn't make it easy to stay married. I hope I'll be making the same post in another decade!

It's Southern California - is there any other explanation needed?

Noppers, guess not.

Looks like a nice place. It is my guess it had a great History.

Nice, Luke! That part-time gig you have in the fall pays pretty good!

Congrats on 20 years! We'll have ours next month, but I was only 7 when we got married! Ahem...

Patience, patience, patience, patience and more patience.

Ignoring the minor things and communicating on the important ones.

Having a strong bond and great communication skills...( that doesn't mean screaming a lot !!!)

And most important, tell him every day that he hasn't changed a bit from the day you married him!!!! (Even if his hair fell out and his stomach grew over his belt!!)
