We have been to the afore mentioned places and they are OK, but slanted toward American tastes....if your fiends enjoy real sushi takr them to Akebono. Its a bit of a drive but worth it.
Thanks for that Pumbug. I've been scratching my head the past 10 years re: Sushi developments.. Mayo? Chipolte? I love a good roll and I also love the traditional tastes. I've been missing the more traditional slant lately.

Dim Sum places anyone?

Ha! Icini! It's so nice to have you back. I read a bunch about raw fish when I was pregnant and it took me awhile to get back in that saddle again as it were. Sushi just has to be from a very reliable place. Period. You might like some of the newer kinds.. vegetarian or grilled shrimp rolls?

Thanks for all the feedback. We ended going to Mikuni's. We had a good experiance and our guests loved it.
