Buddy Forum

To take the whole cloud9 theme a bit further I created a buddy forum as a sub-forum to the cloud9 forum.

In the buddy forum you can start conversations that only people on your buddy list can see or reply to. Click Here to add members to your buddy list.

Since your conversations will only be seen by your buddies you may have less feedback and discussions, but you will not hear from people that are not on your buddy list.

Moderators and admins will still see your posts.

Who are the Admin. and Moderators?

Can I select their screen name from another thread and figure out who I want to chat w/ in that forum? Or do I have to jot down my list and type it in manually?

I am the only admin. Hatethecommute has always been a moderator and I am working on a few more.

You do need to put each person in manually on your buddy list. This logic only affects the buddy forum. All other forums work just like they always have. This is somewhere between and open forum and the PM system. We have over 20,000 posts and over 10,000 PMs so people seem to like both systems.

I think I understand what you are asking

Anytime you see someone's name in the header of a post you can click on it and add them to your buddy list.
