Default Drilling Activity at CRES

I noticed today that there was some drilling activity at CRES and a Wallace-kuhl (geotechnical engineering) truck parked in the field next to CRES. This may have been occurring last week but I was not around to see it. It's nice to see the activity.

They've been on-site since 3/6/07. On some nights, they've had the lights/generators and have been there as late as 9:30 that I've noted.

Don't know what they're drilling for. It's been said they have plenty of water as is.

The existing well may be a parking lot in the new design. I would think they would want a new well.

I understand what you're saying, but drilling a new well does not mean water. You can find water in one spot and 10' away, nothin'. Or, you can also find something, but not be nearly enough to serve your purpose.

Don't they always drill more that one well when testing a property? They did this on the Stonehouse propery too didn't they?

To answer your question, yes, they did drill more than one spot. However, the difference is that there WAS NOT a well on the Stonehouse property. There IS a well at the current site that, according to EGUSD (now, cuz that isn't what they said a few years ago), has enough water to serve the new school.

Does anybody know if they're still drilling out there?

I saw the drilling truck was moved to a slightly new location this morning. A new test well maybe?

How many holes do they have to dig Do they keep doing that till they find water?? Why are they doing the digging on that side of the highway? Isn't the school to be built on the other side of the road
