The groundbreaking ceremony today was awesome. It was the culmination of a lot of hard work and perseverance. I actually postponed my retirement from the Board of Education just to be sure I was able to attend as the elected representative of the area. Funny that there wasn't a crow in sight. Maybe the several hawks in the area scared them off! It will be a joy to attend the opening ceremonies for the new CRES. The next year may pose hardships but keep your eye on the prize, the biggest, most modern elementary school in EGUSD.

Someone posted a thought about putting a camera somewhere (like on the hill across the street). While that would be a great idea think how awesome it would be to have a live webcam posted somewhere so that you could access the camera online 24/7 to see the progress of the day. Surely someone in RM has the capability and wherewithall to pull that off. Anyone willing to step up and make this happen?

Thanks again

I was able to attend the ceremony and it was a momentous occasion. For me, 6 years of involvement. I was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. The standing ovation for the Ledbetter family speaker brought tears to my eyes. Obviously a family dedicating to this community. They owned the land the school sits on now and have once again come through for their community. Thank you EGUSD and everyone who made this happen.
