This is a discussion on How to Say Thank You within the Site Tutorials forum, part of the Site News and Help category; When you just want to say thanks for a post you like or is helpful you don’t always want to . . .
When you just want to say thanks for a post you like or is helpful you don’t always want to make an entire post just to say thank you. In the bottom right hand corner of each post you will see a button that says “Thanks”.
When you click this button a “Thank you” is added to that post.
This “thank you” signifies you found the post to be helpful or well written. You will not see the thank you button on your own posts since you cannot thank yourself. You will also not see it on posts where you already clicked thanks. Every time you say thanks it is recorded and tallied on your profile as well as the person's profile you said thanks to. Also clicking thanks helps increase a person’s reputation points on the forum (I will post more about that later).
