What is your favorite wine?

My wife likes sweeter wines (Riesling and Gewürztraminer) and I like a good Merlot or Cab. We were introduced to a new wine (for us) by some friends and we both love it. It was Rombauer Vineyards’ Carneros Chardonnay. It is very good wine.

What is your favorite wine?

We like, of late, a Guenoc (Lake County) petite syrah. Very palatable and often on sale at Bev Mo for 9.99/bottle. Did any of you know we have a local vintner who produces only red wines and has a tasting room over at the old Sugar Beet factory in Clarksburg? The label name is Todd Taylor and I've had the Cab, which is very good--about 25 bucks a pop.

Rombauer Chardonnay is great, also their Zinfandel is wonderful. I prefer Zins especially sweet (fruity) ones...typically the old vine zins. Windwalker has some good ones to, or did, they sold earlier this year I believe and I don't think I've tried the new releases.
