I saw the informercial on 5 today, which is nicely done. I'm looking forward to Peter Cetera in particular. The Beach Boys cover act looks like fun, too.

Sorry, who is Peter Cetera, never heard of him...sounds good from what I have seen though. Wish they had brought back The Diamonds; too expensive I heard though. Think we shall go to all of them except the country themed one.

BTW, did any of you see the sign at Sloughhouse Ranch that Incahoots is coming there soon? Does that mean country dancing in that shed of theirs?

Oops, I crossed wires in my head. They are bringing in Peter Rivera, lead singer of the 70s group Rare Earth, not Peter Cetera of the band Chicago, who would also be a great "get."

Rare Earth's big radio hits which might ring a bell include (I just want to) "Celebrate" and "Get Ready"('cause here I come).

He's really quite an excellent R&B singer and ETC's clip suggests he travels with a good band. Should be a fun show, especially for those who prefer a little "oomph" in their music. Voices of Classic Rock & Rockforever.com -- Presents PETER RIVERA

BTW Darin's band Stonehouse were quite good last night at the OKC Corral. The new guitar player, Steve Wall, formerly of the Beer Dawgs, has got some great stuff. Sax player Jerry Martini was AWOL, called away to play last night with Sly & the Family Stone in a rare appearance of their old band, but Steve did a remarkable job of covering the sax parts with the Roland synth rig on his guitar.

LOL! Still none the wiser....now if only we could afford Clapton (sans his personality) Saw him in Oakland a few years back; outstanding but not as much as his CD's are. Lot to be said for mix and splice in a studio, hey?

Also saw Rod Stewart about a few years ago, my friend and I both agreed he is way past his 'sell by date'. How many knew that he was once a grave digger? Not a bad soccer player either.

Now it has come and gone I must say what a jolly good show ETC put on for us all on Sunday May 4th.

It was more intimate than last years, with treats galore. I am in one of the pictures, but I'm not telling!!

A happy summer to you all in RM.

Clapton! Be still my heart. Still love that guy.

Steve Wall can really play. Sounds like a fun night!

Ping....Clapton? Did you have a little too much vino on Sunday? He was not there, it was a jazz group. ( Wish he had have been though )

Oops! You are going back a few posts, sorry. This grey matter can only hold a thought for about a minute these days, if that!
