Smile Asthma Camp in Sacramento Bee / Founded by Resident Al Brown

I just had to share this information - Al Brown, Sr. who lives right here in Rancho Murieta, started a non-profit organization to help children with Asthma in 2001. And today, there is a great write up on Al and the Asthma Camp and how much it is helping the children here in Northern California. Children can run, play, hike, horse back ride, do skits and swim - among other things!

This camp is FREE to all children ages 5 - 12 and is held at Camp Arroyo in LIvermore. I encourage you to check out the article, and to visit Al's website. Working with Al all of these years, has been nothing but the best. A loving, caring and compassionate person, Mr. Al is one of Rancho Murieta's very best.

The 1st Annual Children's Challenge Golf Tournament will be held right here at the Rancho Murieta Country Club on June 1st, 2009.

Three groups (all helping children) have joined forces to make this a grand event. Silent Auction, Raffle Prizes, Tournament Prizes are just the tip of the ice berg.

Helping children and families is something all three of these organizations have in common - and I encourage you to visit CAFairPlay's website http://www.cafairplay.org

Have something to donate? Want to register for the event? Call Al Brown - (916) 802-0466 -
