I've been looking around but haven't found anything that explains the Karma points, Stars or titles. I see Wilbur is a Jr. Member, congratulations! (I think?)

Karma is how the members of the forum feel about your posts in general. You can add or take away from someone's karma points by clicking [ applaud ] or [ smite ] in each post. You can find [ applaud ] and [ smite ] on the left side of each individual post.

The titles and stars are based on how many posts you have or other special grouping. Right now there is only 2 special groups. Administrator (myself) and Moderator (hatethecommute). All other forum members are in a point based group. As you make more posts you automatically move up to the next group. Here is how the groups are set up right now.

Newbie - 0 to 49 posts
Jr. Member - 50 to 99 posts
Full Member - 100 to 249 posts
Sr. Member - 250 to 499 posts
Hero Member - 500+ posts

Matthew, how do you get those "quote" boxes into your reply? I see them used but don't know how to get them into my reply box....

In the upper right hand of each post you should see "quote". Click this and you will be replying with the post quoted. Let me know if you do not see it.

Ok, I see the word "quote"....now if you only want one line of the paragraph and not the whole thing, you do what?

When you first hit the quote button you get this:

Now you can take out any text between the brackets. This:

Just leave everything between the [ ]. The software reads those to tell how to display the text.

Would like explanation on Karma, Stars, etc.
