When I pull that page up, I'm told the page doesn't exist. When I look at both the old and the new site, the last story is from 8/4...is it me? I've been wondering for awhile about the inactivity, but now I think it's me. Just remembered -- I even tried to register awhile back but I was never responded to......is it time to get paranoid?

I use Netscape, and used to deny cookies, but even when I changed that, it wouldn't load. I tried MS Explorer (yuck!), and that brought up the old home page (8/4) and also wouldn't load Matthew's link.

Oh my.....I need a techie....

The "no page exists" that I see when I try to open your link above is the old format.

Are you running Windows?

Try this. Click start and then click run. In the box type "cmd" (no quotes) and hit enter. You should see a black box/window. Type "ping ranchomurieta.com" (no quotes). You should see an IP address which is the numbers after the words "Reply from". Can you tell me what that IP is?

Yes, I'm on windows (XP). Wow, haven't had to use a DOS command in eons......

The IP is 216.246.57.250

I don't know if it's relevant, but packets were sent, none were recieved (100% loss)

Interesting, sorry if I was too basic. I am not sure of everone's techie skills.

You are getting the correct IP, but if you are not getting packets back then yes you will probably not see the site. So do you see the site in the old format, new format, or not at all when you pull up just http://www.ranchomurieta.com

No, basic is *good* -- I'm not even sure if I remember any DOS commands!!

When I type in www.ranchomurieta.com, I get the old siite, last story was dated 8/4....


oops, just tried it -- I"m thinking that those guests that were viewing this topic might have fixed something because now, using the same bookmark, I get the new site. I can even see all the stories that I missed for the month!!
