Default Matthew..a question please?

Why does my post disappear into thin air when I try to attach a smiley or such? All I end up with is the smiley, all text is gone.

I am not sure. I have not had this report from anyone else. Can you describe the steps you are taking to create a post?

The scenario I immediately envisioned was accidentally having the text highlighted when clicking in an icon, which overwrites the highlighted text?

Yup, that would do it. Icini do you know if that is what occurred?

Nothing was highlighted at the time. It seems to happen when I want to add an icon after I have written something and it goes to the next line. All text disappears except the icon; it does not always happen just when there is not enough room to accommodate the icon on the same line.
