Summer Vacations

We are in the process of planning our summer vacation. This year has been a crazy one and we are looking forward to taking a break. With the economy we are trying to be smart with our planning.

Has anyone made any plans to something fun? Where are you going, what are you doing, do tell!

We are heading to Yosemite in August. We are staying at yurts.

It's nearest thing to camping I could get away with.

Hey Dadof4, are you going to try out the Half Dome hike? It's an all day hike but its worth it. Take a camera.

I'm doing Washington DC this summer.

Our big plan was to stay home and go all the places we never get around to.. until I realized that Hub will likely work straight through the summer unless we unplug. So.. Tahoe and Napa practically camping style. Saving up for the US/Grand Canyon next year.

Since we don't have little ones anymore, we are planning a relaxing vacation somewhere in the South Pacific.

Summer school and football conditioning chauffeur for Luke, Jr.

Probably do the usual anniversary get away to the Four Seasons, San Francisco with Mrs. Luke to pretend that we are rich, but nothing else planned right now.
