Congrats on the new iPhone! And for two bags of corn? Pretty sweet. When you get it in, let us know what your coverage and up/down speeds are like- I'll definitely be interested in the review.

It arrived a few minutes ago. I am so not going to get any work done tomorrow.

IPhones are cool but I wouldn't trade my crackberry for one. Let me know how you like the latest version, maybe they are making some strides. I also don't like the fact that you can't take the battery out if it freezes up or you have a problem.

A good part of me wants to argue with you just since Lisa said I was your wingman or parrot (or whatever moronic thing it was) but I'm with you.... I LOVE my blackberry. I've heard people don't like having to buy BB Enterprise Server (I think its around $1500), but the actual handsets seems to work. Mine gets wet almost every week on the golf cart (you think I'd learn to put it in my golf bag), and I put it on the patio table, and the thing fires right back up. I have absolutely no expectation for the thing to work after the water damage, but for some reason it has dried out every time. I'm sure its days are numbered, but I've beat the heck out of it.
Clone. It was clone. Sorry, just remembered.

I got an iPhone exactly a week ago. I cannot say enough great things about it.
I have used:
An original email only Blackberry
Three different Treo models (600, 650, and 700p)
Blackberry 8130 Pearl
Blackberry 8830 World Phone
I loved the Palm OS but they cannot come up with decent reduced size handset to save their very existence. Blackberry's are not for me though I did like the size of the Pearl. But from time to time the Blackberry's call log would just vaporize. I find that data is gold to me in a sales profession. Windows Mobile is such a poor PDA OS is has never even been considered as a player.
I was a die hard Verizon customer and I still opted to go to AT&T and get a 3G iPhone. As of today I have zero regrets. My phone seems to work very well here in RM and down Jackson. I have a very hectic travel schedule for the next three weeks so we see if it really holds its own. Right now I cannot imagine why it will not. I think Verizon really blew it not taking the iPhone on.
If you think you will like the iPhone I would pull the trigger. You will love it. Its operation has been flawless so far.

I won't try and disagree with you scowboy. All I can say is the BB curve is outstanding. Ipod, e-mail, internet, gps any many other features all rolled up in a decent sized PDA. And I can take the battery out anytime.

Those with the new IPhone, did you order yours? I was told at the AT&T store I would have to order one and it would be up to 21 days to get one...I am too impatient to wait for that Would I have better luck going to the Apple store at Arden Fair
Heck- if he's my clone, at least he's in great shoes.

I am typing from my phone now. It is a bit slower to type but I am sure I will get faster. Yes we ordered this phone but through our Corp rep so it was quick. I hear the lines at Arden Fair are still out the door and five stores long.
