This is a discussion on IPhone 3G within the Open Topics forum, part of the The Lounge - Outside Rancho Murieta category; Anyone pick one up yet? I am thinking about it, but I heard there were issues activating it? . . .
I don't like the iPhone. This is probably because I dislike Apple in general. If you aren't going to use the MP3 player/video functions, but are using it for more professional use, it's a great device. But for me, I will be using both the professional aspects and the media aspects (mostly music) and 16 gigs isn't enough for me.
Plus there are cheaper devices that do pretty much the same thing, just less pretty.
Call me when Steve Jobs introduces an 80 GB model. Hell, use your iPhone if you want.
Also, I'm on Verizon. That's a bit of an issue as well =p

I finally convinced my employer that I needed an IPhone, okay in reality I bribed them. The HR manager is in charge of our cell phone plan and happens to love Sloughhouse corn. Two bags later and my IPhone will be in next week.
My current phone is 3G and the coverage is pretty good here in RM. Actually it is better than what I sometimes see in Sacramento or San Francisco.
