Default GPS = Bad Driver

Is this a trend?

Hub has always been a good driver but since we got a car with a GPS system he's become less, I think, attentive to the road. Like some part of his brain has decided to go to the Bahamas while "Ethel" drives. Or maybe I should switch it to the male voice. It could be he's rebelling against one more request from his road wife.

Oh, that's too funny. And what a great social experiment - to see if there is a different response depending on the gender of the voice!

If you try it, you'll have to let us now what happened

My husband and I were going somewhere and "Jane" was telling us how to go. My husband was driving and didn't turn off the freeway when Jane told him to, and of course she "recalculated" and sent us off going in a totally different direction. I said to "Jane", "where the hell are you taking us?", and my husband barked at me, " Gees Honey, don't yell at the GPS, she knows what she is doing!". I had to laugh at this exchange since it appeared that he was protecting Jane's feelings and getting mad at me!! I'm not sure how my husband would like it if it was a male voice instead of a woman's.

That's hilarious Feisty!

I just ordered a pad for the office called "Paper GPS". I thought it was classic.

Yep, it was really funny after I got over the fact that my husband was sticking up for Jane instead of me!!!
