Wife's going out for cocktails, the kids are at overnight events. Plenty of time for me to download Chrome tonight and check out.

Do I need to get a life or what?

It only took me one (1) Spicy Hot V-8 to download it.

That's pretty quick in La Casa HQ.

Being the Busy, Rich, Fat, Cigar Smoking Conservative Beef Producer I am I always seem to be in La Casa only for a bite to eat or to cool down a bit.

For what I use this 'puter for most of the day I am impressed.

I am not easily impressed.

Just stumbled on this cautionary article in, of all places, Google News:

BetaNews | How dangerous are the first Google Chrome vulnerabilities?

Quite certain that I don't understand all the techspeak, but it seems to confirm my instinct to wait another release or two till they fix some more bugs and vulnerabilities to attack.

yikes and it turns out I wasn't crazy to wonder about privacy, Google leveraging the information they acquire via the browser. Every keystroke while in the browser, it turns out....?

Google bends to Chrome privacy criticism

BTW I installed the Flashblock flash suppressor in Firefox (mentioned in a previously mentioned article) and it really does seem to help page load speeds and load on the processor. It shuts down all those little flash animation windows you encounter all over the place, and replaces them with an icon to click if you really want to see it. On some sites, however that's almost everything on the page and for want of any captions etc. to go by it's hard to know whether you want to see what's in any of those windows. Haven't toyed with it yet to determine whether I can disable it as to specific selected sites, which would be useful.

I don't care much about logging keystrokes. If it helps deliver relevant ads of things I really want then go for it.
