Though I didnt get out until Sunday the results of the retail sales this year are noticeably missing from the news. They are up 7 % over last year. Looks like the American consumer isnt as pessimistic as many would have us believe. Good going Main Stream Media again!

I finally made it to the mall on Saturday afternoon. I was suprised that the Nordstrom's parking garage was almost empty. I guess everyone stayed away thinking it was going to be full. As far as good deals, there were too many!!

I never go out on Black Friday.....I don't like crowds and it's just to hectic. I will be cutting my list down this year and have already told my kids not to buy us anything because we have all we need. If they want to give us something....make cookies or something simple. I like homemade items or a plant or some easy thing. Keep it simple......
