I think the problelm is that Karen has to go to the office and get them. I don't think they release them to anyone because the names of juveniles are listed. She omits them as you know. I believe that goes for the RVT also. Marcia Oxford has to go to the office as well. They probably get busy and don't get a chance to update them to often.

I would like to know why no one in the community has made any noise regarding CSD enacting a marijuana ordinance? Is it because either parents don't believe it's a problem, or because parents know it's a problem and don't want their kids to be hassled?

Admittedly, I haven't followed anything regarding CSD's ordinances. I do have a really stupid question, however. Why do we need to have an ordinance about marijuana. Isn't it already illegal at other levels like County, State, and Federal?

I spoke with security and the logs are available the following day, however there is no online copy. We can get them but we must go into the CSD office during business hours. I will just rely on the delayed logs from ranchomurieta.com since I just don't have the time to get copies from CSD.

What is the issue with marijuana use in the community. My kids are a bit too young to be involved in any drug activity. Does CSD not enforce the law when it comes to illegal drugs?

CSD patrol has limited arrest authority and can only enforce our local government (CSD) ordinances. Without such an ordinance, they have to call the sheriff to respond, and considering the county-wide calls that the sheriff responds to, the marijuana problems out here aren't a high priority. In fact, if CSD patrol did call on such problems, it would strain the good working relationship that CSD patrol and the SSD currently share.

When the amounts are large enough, as in major drug finds, then the SSD is called in.

And yes, there are lots of drugs in RM. The degree of the problem seems to cycle a bit, as does the drug of choice, but there is always some level of problems with drugs and kids in this community. The ordinance would give CSD patrol another tool that would allow them to make contact with these kids and get the parents involved, or at least informed.
