What is the status of the security camera installation in Rancho Murieta? If I recollect properly $30,000 was approved in the RMA budget. Are we going forward with this project? If so, what is the status? If not, why?

good question Al, When I was on the Comm. Committee we talked about security camera's at length, so surely the new committee could work on this as part of their responsibilities.

Wouldn't this be an issue for maintence or possibly compliance? Someone should address Mel or Candice, they would know the answer to this as they are the committee chairs.

Is there something about the concept of a Discussion Forum that escapes you? You're right, individuals could go directly to RMA and ask their question, but maybe, just maybe, they wanted to chat up the question first. Better here, where the conversation is open for all to read and comment, than let's say, those conversations that occur behind closed doors, in whispers at the coffee shop, in secret, behind folks' back, etc.. Just sayin'.

Then again, this is how rumors begin, why not go to the source and see what the status is, and then do the chat. Look at being proactive instead of reactive. The committees may have things in discussion that have not come out of committee yet, so why generate mountains when you can have plains?

Personally, I think security cameras, for 35K are a waste of our money.
