Is the rumor true?

I just heard that Officer Ramsey was released from probation. Anyone have any knowledge of this?
If so why? I had the opportunity to talk to him a few times, what a loss for the dept if indeed he was let go.
Brings up another good question then. Another officer gone under the Remson Regime.
I think it is time Both BOD's start looking at why this is happening.

It is true... he was "let go" on saturday. I have not heard the reason why.

Wow, not good. I think that is what somewhere around the 9-12 officers in two years. I wonder what it is going to take to make people say the enough is enough?
Officer Ramsey was a great officer here. He involved with the community both on and off duty. What a shame.

Maybe it is time for this new security committee to take a look at what/who the problem is?

Why would RMA BOD look into a personnel issue at CSD?

Yes, that's him. Would have liked to have said goodbye, a real nice fellow.

Sure puts the dept in a tough spot - they only have security guard powers, yet hopefully will be getting at least some limited LE (836.5) back. It's going to be tough getting the same type of qualified personnel. All the officers here have been through the academy (including) Ramsey, I don't know if that will continue to be the case.

However, I know that BM is content with security guards, so maybe that is the right direction to go in. I do hope that the community speaks out in one way or another.

Talked to a small dept in town last month, with almost no turnover, and most of their officers are part time. Sure seems like something is going on out here.

I don't think that is in their charge. I suspect this is something the GM and the CSD BOD would be monitoring.

He is a really nice guy- very helpful. He has a great demeanor with the public. Its sad to see him go. Hopefully (fingers crossed) there is a master plan at work on all the 'house cleaning' going on at CSD.
