My View: Sacramento County residents find invisibility isn't so fun - Sacramento Opinion - Sacramento Editorial | Sacramento Bee

Sacramento County seems to think that Rancho Murieta has no grocery stores. Someone needs to tell these businesses that they do not exist.

I've had many family and friends think that The Country Store is our only store. Cracks me up!

Laughing that the environmental report projects 33 percent less emissions! Wait 'til they see how many invisible community members walk or take their carts over to The Plaza.

And you know, a certain RMA Director was posting to rm.com at the last Board meeting. Kinda like what Candy described some County guys do. Pay attention people! Perfect example of why we need to cast our votes in the up-coming election carefully. We don't need to ever end up with Board-member-by-default ever again.

(sorry for the slight hijack of your thread, Matt...as you were...)

Thanks for bringing this article to our attention, Matt. Thank you, Candy, for writing it.

Unbelievable! Leaving out critical information in the environmental planning report is inexcusable in my opinion, and it stinks to high heaven! Gah, and people wonder why those in favor of responsible growth out here have such a distrust of the development planning process.

A fine example of what the County Planning Departments really know about Rancho Murieta. Does anyone think it might be a good idea if they actually came out and looked at what they are asked to approve before they take action?

Like Marth says "You can't fix stupid."

I guess if the Plaza has disappeared, the county won't be missing any tax receipts from them.
