Default A picture a day...

Post one picture, any picture, taken the very same day you post it.

The picture can be of anything - some examples might be:

*You drove by and saw Wilbur out front weeding shirtless (Hiya Wilbur!)
*A kitty cat laying peacefully right beside a gaggle of turkies (saw this 2 weeks ago in RM).
*You took a trip somewhere
*Something odd or funny
*You see Lisa being pulled over by security (Hiya Lisa! )
*Culdad is so impressed with the wax job he just layed down on his Vette, he might photograph his reflection in it (hiya culdad! )
*Perhaps it is just a big pile of trash on your street (hiya Ranch! )
*Or maybe you spot Birdie at a secret RM'ers for Obama convention (hiya Birdie! )
*Definitely post up if you happen to have seen Matthew at some dive bar off Madison ()
*Maybe a photo fo the glee on your kiddo's face as they score their first goal?
*Have a particularly tasty meal you are about to partake in? Take a picture, show us!
*A photo of Bass Lake?
*Whatever and wherever you are and what yours eyes are seeing!

I went ahead and nominated myself the grand poobah of this thread. So we're clear, this thread is all about the pictures and the stories they tell. It isn't about whether you approve or disapprove of the poster's photo - I am sure there will be happy pictures, pictures to make you pause, beautiful pictures, and probably some sad ones - maybe even some that might make you a bit angry... Those are the stories these photos will tell.

So lets get those camera's snapping and those cell phone cameras clicking!

PS - As self elected grand poohbah of this thread I reserve the right to mock you if you do not follow the rules, boo you for stupidity, and generally razz you if you get too far sideways from the spirit of this thread

Default I'll go first to get us started

Now ordinarily, a photo of what appears to be roadkill is nothing noteworthy. However, several weeks ago one of our Rottweilers was out by the barn when the rest of our dogs heard something and all ran over in that direction and were barking excitedly. Later in the evening I notice that Seau, the Rottie that was initially out by the barn, had some nicks and scrapes on him along with a scabbed up ear. I checked our other Rott because often times they get to playin' pretty rough - nope, nothing on Jas. Hmmm, wonder what Seau tussled with?

Today, I had occasion to be in back and came across this raccoon and it became clear what Seau had tussled with. It was a fairly good sized coon, probably in the 40lb + range. Good dog.

Now ya'lls turn!

Here is my contribution. Who can guess why this picture is special?
