No power on the south

We have been out of power for a while on the south. I hear the north still has power.

I'm in the north and i lost power. just now got it back... my grandson lives in the north also and he never lost power. I'm so confused...lost our refrig/freezer yesterday, and today power. what next...

Ours was out (RMS) nearly 2 1/2 hours, but the SMUD outage line was very informative (even though I never spoke to a "live" person). All I did was verify my phone # and punch in just the numbers of our street address and they provided the number of customers without power and estimated time of repair.
Maybe, most importantly, they suggested all appliances, etc. be unplugged except for one light, to avoid a power surge when powere was restored.
Might be a great idea to post this SMUD outage number in the front of your directory: 1-888-456-7683.

Well, according to the updates, it was the South's fault....(tongue in cheek) ..... seems there was a bad underground cable on Verona.....our electricity came on at 3:25.....I'm now sitting on top of my air condition vent along with my dog.....
