Has anyone read the newest rash of vandalism on RM.com tonight? Seems the new thing is breaking car windows and vandalizing the residents vehicles parked in or on their driveways....nice huh? What else will our youth think of? Another case of " isolated incidents"....sure!!!!

So, just how did we determine that it was our 'youth' who did this? A few weeks ago, a man in his 20's knocked over a couple of garbage cans whilst speeding. Before that a man in his late 40's was stopped for DUI in a golf cart. Last month, I witnessed some older gents ( late 30's or so ) doing dounts in some of the open area down by Clementia...

Get real, who else would do something like that if it wasn't a kid or an idiot.

Why is it that whenever it's mentioned that an incident of vandalism may have been done by a juvenile some people get defensive? What responsible adult would do something like that?

No responsible adult would do that, but do you really think all adults in our community are responsible? Why would you just assume it was kids? Do you have a single fact to suggest that it was?

Interesting ProDeveloper that you seem to know all the ages of these folks that were involved in your described incidents.....hummmmm. Where in the security logs does it list the ages of the folks that do these things? Must have missed that...

No Matt I don't think that all adults are responsible but past history has shown that auto theft and vandalism within this community has been directly related to juvenile's. ie: A couple of years ago we had seventeen (17) auto and garage robberies which were committed by juvenile's. How doe we know. it the KIDS were caught/known. Just recently (within the past six (6) Months) we had several car robberies committed by juvenile's, how do we know that the KIDS were caught/known. I have to tell you that I've not heard of any adult that has been caught/known to vandalize a car or commit a robbery within the community, so who does that leave but a kid or kids
