Default Many thanks to RM Security

In the wee hours on Monday morning the dreaded "middle of the night call" came. It was RM security calling about a side light left on a motor bike belonging to hubby. We had been out for the evening, did not check our messages or else we would have been aware they had called earlier. How thoughtful to call again ( even during the night ) to make us aware in case it was hubby's' only method of transport to work. ( Dead battery.) We were impressed and most grateful for his thoughtfulness and dedication to his work. Many thanks!

Thats great! The security out here does a great job. We are a very lucky community.

Yep, we had one of those calls also, this time it was our garage door being left open. It is true that since retiring, our mind doesn't work as well as it did when we were both working!! We also were grateful that they called us, especially since there has been so much stuff stolen out of garages these days. We have since made a pact with our neighbors to please call us if they see our garage door open, and we will in return. I don't mind our neighbors watching out for us.

Security has called us before because of the open garage and we are far from retirement age and we too appreciated the call.

Amen to all of the foregoing. The sad thing is that sometimes when Security calls a home to let them know about an open garage door etc. they get bitched at by a resident who doesn't know the difference between being hassled and being helped.

Having found myself in the same situation as Matthew I really dont mind the occasional reminders any more than the yearly ticket in the mail for speeding down the parkway. Its where we live, and theres no place like this in Sac.
