Grant Line East Visioning held a meeting yesterday evening at CRES- I noticed the 'sandwich' board along the shoulder on my return home. Sacramento County's Consultant has proposed the new Transportation Developer Fees in their report which will be proposed to the County for Approval In July 2008. To date I can find no congestion management plan or even a draft plan addressing the coridors' within 50 miles of the designated county areas. Basically, in the east area there has been 20 years of development with 20 years is in the horizon - with no cooperative plan or financing to lay fabric between Folsom and Highway 99 - as if Highway 99 has the carrying capacity even if an 'expressway' runs a muck through Vineyards, Sheldon, Wilton - its' time to address the proposed fees and request to 'see and hold' what the past 20 years of fees has given this region and where this pavement dream is headed- thanks for posting! IMO- plenty has been collected- what has the public gotten. SACDOT - Sacramento County Transportation Development Fee (SCTDF).
