Have always liked this song, never knew the title until a few days ago. This chap has some good pipes along with a wicked personality. Have heard Tom Jones and Clay Aiken sing it also....not a patch on the original!

Wonder if we could book him and his crowd, seeing he is from S California regardless of his phony New York accent. Here, have a listen.

This song by Billy Vera & the Beaters originally aired on the sitcom "Family Ties" & was played after Alex P. Keaton (Michael J Fox) & his girlfriend (played by a young Courtney Cox) broke up.

In case anyone wanted to know...

Now why can't American Idol come up with talent like that? Maybe we should have one called American Idols With Walkers, hey? Yee Gods, their time would be up before they arrived in front of the judges!

I was shocked when that David Cook won. He is just like all the others; a shouter with a few good notes here and there. David A will outshine him just as Clay Atkin did with that Rubin chap.

David Cook was actually my pick for the winner but I decided not to vote this year as I was happy with either of the two being the winner. Although I sure had a big surprise as I was watching the show and TIVOing it live. I turned it on in the last 5 minutes, and Ryan said and the winner is David

Then as anyone knows with Tivo, if you're watching the show live and recording it, it will then cut out for a few seconds.

So it cut out and I didn't know who won. I saw the two guys hug and congratulate each other and then David A walked to the middle of the stage, so I thought he won. It wasn't for another 5 or 10 minutes that I found out it was really David Cook who won. That was just too funny...what timing on Ryan's part!

David Cook albeit a charming chap was not up to snuff to be the winner. I liked that OZ guy more than him. David A should have won though.

No worries, he will make out better than Cook, mark my words, after he finishes high school that is!
