Can someone reply to Julie Jordan's post on dotcom? Since the site "improved" I can't remember my login info over there.

Thanks for the update, Matt! I was just thinking about her/the family earlier this morning. Glad to hear she's improving. Having been in a similar situation 7 years ago (my sister was in a car accident, ICU, rehab, extended stay at our house), I can empathize with them all.

I messaged Julie. I didn't feel comfortable posting personal information of folks I don't know.

I can appreciate that.

However, when RVT posts a picture that was NOT the scene of the accident and then lists the names of EVERYONE involved, I'd say it's "public info" and there may be others in the community also wondering about her and praying for her continued recovery. Additionally, Matt posted here, and one can read this site without logging in, so all content here isn't private either. I just can't remember how I'm registered over there or I would have linked Matt's post in a reply.

I notice that about the picture

I was hoping that Matt would post over there. I would post a link to this site for further updates, but a link to this site would just be removed.

The victim's family chose not to reply to any of the postings on that site (even though he has actively posted otherwise), so we need to respect that. He's given Matt information and updates, and thats his comfort level.

Here is a cut and paste of my reply to Julie's post on RM.com:

Car crash update
Julie and our RM neighbors: Gretchen, my wife, is recovering at Mercy San Juan. She was moved out of Trauma ICU July 1st and will be transferring to an acute rehabilitation center in the Bay Area early next week. She is making good progress but has a very long road ahead of her. The doctors are optimistic that her outcome will be good.
The support we have received from our friends and neighbors, the RM Community church, and our "tennis buddies" has been amazing... THANKYOU!
The Sac Metro Fire paramedics, RM Security personnel and the first passerbys who stopped all did an incredible job in safely extracting her from the car and getting her medivac'd to Mercy's Trauma Center. Their skills and coordinated efforts saved her life and prevented any spinal cord damage and should be applauded!
Dave Rhodes

Before her accident Gretchen and I would keep up with certain threads on this forum which often provided us with interesting dinner table conversations. We never thought we would be the subject of our own thread! When Gretchen recovers she will enjoy reading through it.

I certainly appreciated the kind thoughts that were posted in the days immediatedly following her accident (and have enjoyed the predictable forays into discussions of DUI and the court system from our legal eagles).

I have also enjoyed getting to know the neighbor several doors down who I vaguely knew as "Matt" but did not realize he is the famous Matt McGuire!

Thanks, Dave. You know we're all pulling for Gretchen, and as Lisa says, anything at all, let Matt know and we'll get 'er done.
