Head on accident on Jackson

There is a head on accident on Jackson between the north and south gates. All traffic is stopped west bound.

CHP have traffic stopped in both directions. The fire dept is on scene. It is listed as a Ford pickup and a white vehicle with major injuries.

I just drove by in my golf cart finishing number 18 on south.

Traffic is still at a standstill in both directions. Emergency vehicles are still arriving at 6:05 pm. Back up and delay might be substantial.

Accident is alongside the 18th fairway. Hope it is not as bad as it looks.

I never want to hear that....that is a bad spot...I know folks have passed there and that's not to safe to do.....

My son and I say a prayer whenever we hear sirens. Time for one now. Thank you for the info.

I sat there, north side of the bridge for 40 minutes. One ambulance headed to town, two tow trucks heading toward south gate. Someone behind me got out and walked a ways up the road and told me someone said it could be an hour, but he didn't get close enough to see anything. Traffic stopped in both directions, tho some fire trucks came thru (possibly from another fire...I don't think they are from our fire house). I turned around and am with a friend on the north.

We back up to the highway... every time I hear skidding tires I wince and wait for the sound of a collision. I didn't hear this one. None of my loved ones are out there... I always check after I hear the sirens
