Trying to reach RanchHQ to notify of a loose cow on Latrobe (dirt portion) near Stonehouse. I drove by around 1:00pm and called security. Hope he/she is back in the fence by now but wanted to post here as well.

That's a different Cow from the loose Cow last weekend. What is happening is either Momma Cow or Baby Cow gets thru a leak in that "First Class" fence along Latrobe and then all he77 breaks loose, as can be expected.
They belong to Jonas Livestock, who leases that land on the E. side of Latrobe.
I won't go into the whole story here but Jonas Livestock requested 3 weeks ago that I no longer notify them when their Livestock is loose.
I have complied with that wish.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our Gate, and thanks to The Runner Gal; I saw you stopped at the Corner at 1:30 or so. I was headed over your way but traveling in a John Deere Tractor with a Manure Spreader attached is slow.

That is absolutely true RHQ....the Jonas livestock has gotten loose so many times I can't even count them....I have participated in a couple of round-ups myself along with Security.....I don't know why he doesn't mend his fences so this doesn't happen all the time....I just hope no one gets injured by running into one in the evening when its dark out.....

I think I remember reading something about cities and counties imposing charges on businesses (mostly bars I think) they have to respond to too often, and repeated false alarms, that sort of thing. You'd think if a livestock owner repeatedly inflicted those response costs on LE there'd be some way they'd be able to impose a motivating cost of laxity.

I am unable to pass up this straight line. thank you...
I am so glad you were able to allow so many posters on this forum (including me) to use your spreader.
Some of us use your equipment to spread it on thin, while others seem to have a problem with the volume (thickness) control levers.
