No, but Jim has served on committees for years and provided his input by that helpful means, as distinguished from merely sniping online without actually contributing to the actual process.

RMA directors, RMA Staff, and key FOC players are reading what is posted here. I think everyone here is contributing to the process.

I appreciate everyone's comments on this situation. I think there is about 1000% more information posted here then you will ever get on channel 5 or actually attending a meeting.

Thanks Wilbur for being willing to address everyone's questions and concerns. I too think everyone is doing more than merely sniping online. There is some great information posted here, but I do realize I might be a bit biased.

Right or wrong, Wilbur, I do believe you are doing this for the right reasons.

I have contributed plenty to this community Wilbur and I volunteer my time like you do. I just do it in different ways than you do. I don't have to brag about it, and I don't have to get self-righteous over it either. I don't see you at the vast majority of events I volunteer at. Would "sniping on line" include some of the misstatements you have made about Little League ("the sacred cow") or Summerfest? You haven't served on those committees have you counselor?

This is a forum where people can voice their opinion Wilbur. Plenty of people have had it with you and your drama queen theatrics at the meetings, and there are those of us who are willing to say that here. I think you would be surprised how many people notice it.

But the proxy issuers had authorized their proxies to be voted at the meeting in which FOC was to be decided. And how long the voting on FOC could be delayed unilaterally by RMA is an " issue pertaining to the Bylaw Amendment" and I took control of that timing out of Dick's hands by asserting and protecting the voting power of those proxies, which was intended all along to ensure that those who gave proxies could not be thwarted by parliamentary nonsense by their opponents. It was used for precisely the reason it was solicited and given. RMA was trying to pretend they weren't in the room and just do its thing, its way, to suit its own purposes, while disenfranchising those voters.
Just because there may be a legal right to do something doesn't necessarily mean it is the right thing to do. I stand by my original statement that had I signed a proxy I would be disappointed in how I was represented at the meeting.

Creative you are right there is a lot of information posted on this site concerning local issues. Sad to say an awful lot of it is disinformation and not accurate.

The vast majority of the info on this site is not only accurate it is helpful. From updates on the progress of the new school to accidents on jackson Hwy. What's nice about this real time website is that, usually, inaccurate information will be corrected.

This cable issue may be an exception because those involved anticipate certain litigation which will follow if FOC passes.

It certainly would make more sense for RMA to host their own 'online forum' site in order to intake more formal requests, complaints and discussions. I think the response by some here is un-becoming and un-profressional. Me, included of course. Just a thought, or do they have one and I am just not privy?

They only have a feedback form and an email address for directors on ranchomurieta.org. Sadly I have yet to get a reply.

RMA staff on the other hand have been very responsive and always reply to my emails.

we've come full circle G-Bear...I recall when someone called the "other" site a bunch of trash, you said there was a lot of "treasure" there too....same thing here I think.

Either way, thanks for your continued service to the community...it's a rough circus sometimes.
