Bad Drivers!

Was it allergies? Monday Morning Mania? What the bleep? Scott Road was like the Autobahn this morning. Never seen it so bad. And you mister fancy Ferrari pants...did that make you feel oh so superior when you ran the rest of us in the ditch only to slam your brakes on at White Rock? Shame, shame, shame! No more espresso for you.

Plus, not five minutes after I passed White Rock and Prairie City I heard there was a major pile up right there. Complete with a dump truck driver ejected from his cab. Hope he's okay.

What time were you on Scott Road yesterday morning?

A car had 7-8 cars behind it yesterday at about 7:15 am and the driver was oblivious to that fact. (None of the trailing cars was a Ferrari.) She had at least 3 opportunities to pull over but that must be hard to do when you're on a cell phone.

Oblivious, now there's a polite word....I could think of some other words that would probably apply but wouldn't be so nice....just yesterday, our Security Patrol nearly got "wacked"......why, cause the guy was talking on the cell phone and went through the stop sign.....!!!!! When will they ever learn?? One more thing...how is it that the folks just left their homes and 3 minutes later are on the cell phone Hummmm!!!!!

Well that's annoying. No, it was about 8. These were people coming up REALLY fast and passing just before a blind curve.

I went through there yesterday a few minutes before. Not sure whats more irritating, being behind the 45 mph car all the way or the person who passes on a blind curve when Im doing.... uh the speed limit.....wink wink

A bit too much of both extremes on that road. One who is uncomfortable with holding a quick pace or intimidated by its twistiness would be better off using a nice straight road like Sunrise and thus avoid the discomfort of being constantly hounded by the speed freaks. The latter should realize they're on a public road and it's unrealistic to expect others to exceed the speed limit to satisfy them.

I love going fast on that road, but take pains not to frighten others. I've seen plenty of very rude fast drivers on that road, too. That's inappropriate and unsafe.

Extra slow drivers do not get hounded by speed freaks. They get followed by folks like me with children who want to go the speed limit. Last Saturday afternoon I was the 6th of 11 cars behind a seasoned citizen RM resident who went the entire way without pulling over. It was ridiculous. The car right behind him started to pass a couple times but saw oncoming traffic. He definitely created a hazard.

Agreed. Well, actually they get both stuck behind them. And sometimes they can p.o. the normal guy stuck behind them into doing something stupid, as well as drawing Hail Mary passing maneuvers out of the speed freaks.
