Default Mac/Entourage

MacBook Pro (running OS X v10.4.11 if it matters) an MS Entourage

Recently, Entourage began generating email messages in my outbox w/no outgoing address. These outgoing "ghost" messages are being generated extremely quickly (until I just deleted another folder full, there were over 9000). There seems to be a mix, but a majority seem to be Facebook.com oriented - About a week or so ago, someone noticed a long dormant profile of mine and since I have bounced around a bit on the site.

Does this make any sense to anyone familiar w/Macs and/or Entourage? Is there a known virus associated w/Facebook?

Thanks in advance.

One other item of note, I also installed PocketMac's app to sync my BlackBerry w/Entourage. Perhaps it is something in the settings I am missing?

Since you are all on the edge of your seat waiting to hear progress on this urgent matter, I will update you!

I have uninstalled PocketMac's application to sync my BB to entourage and it seems to have stopped the issue.

I'm thinking of loading one of the older and replaced PCs full of Linux as a training mule and learn hands-on about that alternative.

Heya Wilbur,

I have not been amongst the Mac faithful for very long, only about 3 years. You could say I am a newlywed, still in the bliss phase... However, it has been very, very nice. I finally went over after the MacBook Pro's dimensions and performance caught my eye. After that, I researched and found that was not anything I was currently using my PC for that i could not do w/Mac. We got Vandy one too. I typically do not have many issues that I cannot resolve PC or Mac wise, but I did seem to have significantly more issues w/my PC as did Vandy. Thus far, this sync issues is th only bobble I have encountered. I am not geek enough to know if it is "Mac" of it or not, but I do know it has been rock solid for us. Might even have to start eyeing one of them there iPhones...

MMMMMMM, this Mac Kool-Aid sure tastes good....
