Many years ago Chief Noller set up a video camera at several key intersections and taped all the cars running/rolling the stop sign. And they edited it down and put it on Channel 5, a long loop of car after car blowing stop signs.
There was an explosion of outrage. Not at all that unsafe driving, but at the Chief's gall to expose people for it. We are, after all, special and entitled behind these gates, and running stop signs with impunity from exposure for it is one of our entitlements. RMA chickened out and down came the tape.
