I can stomach the idea that Birdie is saying that drunk golf cart driving is LESS dangerous, but I hardly think he (or any sane person) would say that hitting a kid or nice family in a golf cart (drunk or not) is tolerable.

You can get a DUI on a bike as well. Frequently happens in bike college towns, and as I recall hearing back then, it goes on your driving record.

I think we're splitting hairs on a bald guy at this point. Drunk driving isn't worth it one way or the other. But the risk of serious injury to unassuming victims I would imagine IS lower if you're not in a car.
