Never, EVER, EVER, respond to an email from your "bank" asking you to click a link to go to their website to solve an urgent alleged problem with your account. REAL BANKS WON'T DO THIS. If you think any such email might be real, pull out your card and CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BACK. Those email links take you to a dummy site which looks like your bank's site, but is just a trap to get you to key in your PIN/password etc. so THEY can then go to your REAL bank and load up on party money (or arms money for al Queda)
