On April 10, 2009 five American soldiers were killed by a suicide bomber in Mosul, Iraq. SFC Bryan E. Hall, of Elk Grove, was one of those soldiers. This walk is to honor him and all American Soldiers who are serving our country.
All proceeds from the walk will be split to establish a scholarship for an Elk Grove High School senior and to contribute to the education fund for SFC Hall’s three-year old daughter, Addison. Please bring your family and join us on April 10, 2010 for a lovely 5K (3.1 miles) walk in Elk Grove Regional Park. The walk begins at 10:00 a.m., ending with a delicious lunch provided by Outback Steakhouse.
Cost of the walk is $20.00 per person; family discount for three or more family members is $50.00; a group of 10 or more is $100.00. Please submit completed entry forms no later than March 28, 2010.
Matthew thank you for posting this information. My son and I will be there, and we will be wearing our BH shirts we bought through Little League last year.

I must confess, we didn't make it to EG to attend this event and I feel awful about it cuz I said I'd be there (and food was ordered based on that).
Sure hope it was not only well attended, but a sucessful fund-raising event! Anyone go that can comment?
